The complicated and unsatisfactory story of Michelangelo's work on the Tomb of Pope Julius II spans much of his professional life.
Raphael and Evangelista da Pian di Meleto are commissioned to paint The Baronci Altarpiece for the church of Saint Nicholas of Tolentino in Città di Castello.
