Giulio Romano paints The Fire in the Borgo after designs by Raphael.

1520s aged 21 to 31

After the death of Raphael in 1520, Giulio Romano helped complete the Vatican frescoes of the life of Constantine as well as Raphael's Coronation of the Virgin and the Transfiguration in the Vatican.

1546 aged 47 in Mantua
